    Interesting. very interesting. So someone could run two separate green houses one for hydroponics and the other for aquaponics and then determine which plants suits each other. idk that's what I'm thinking.

      Sure why not. Aquaponics is basically a nitrogen factory. I think I’d lean towards leafy plants in an aquaponics system

    Thank for this important video for us and i think it has inspired most of us. However, is this possible for many spawns like 40.000 spawns ? I am improving my fish farming business, but facing challenges on how I can produce as many spawns as possible. What do I need more?

    in the video 3 minutes and 23 seconds you have said that the temperature best for tilapia spawning is 80 so that is in degree Celsius or degree Fahrenheit?

      It's Celsius, just make sure you salt the water and throw some herbs in there or it'll taste bad.

    The reason for drain to waste is different. You try to feed as controlled as possible, to drain next to no water / nutrients. This level of control is not achievable for home growers. The large scale productions use it to limit the risk of contermination and increase control over the nutrients mix.

    • @patrickwilson9783
      @patrickwilson9783 Місяць тому

      No others use coco to retain more moisture meaning less watering/ saving nutrients just like indoor drip drain to waste

    I have a chop and flip with a 250 gallon round fiber glass tank and a 55 gallon RFF with potential to have two more IBC grow beds. So I have a sump tank that starts off as 83 gallons (but I can expand to 250 gallons to account for 3 grow beds), 55 gallon blue drum RFF, 250 gallon round Fiberglass fish tank, and 1 IBC grow bed of hydroton where the water part is 50gallons. 83+55+250+50 =438 This totals to 438 gallons of water. Divide by two hours to get 219 gallons per hour. To account for head height and bends of pipes and hoses I think I should upgrade and get a 250 gallon per hour pump. Split flow system Would this pump be enough or would you recommend a different brand? Active Aqua AAPW250 Submersible Water Pump, 250 GPH from Amazon
